- Tafero EM is not effective against other infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or other viruses. You should follow the prescribed schedule and take Tafero EM at the same time every day with or without food. Dialysis patients should consume Tafero EM after their dialysis session. You should not consume more pills than recommended.
- If you miss your doses frequently then you must take guidance from your health care provider because missing PrEP doses increase the risk of HIV infection. A pillbox or alarm can be helpful in maintaining your dose regimen.
- You should not crush or chew the pill, rather swallow it with a glass of water. It is important to maintain a sufficient quantity of pills available on hand to maintain the schedule properly.
